Introducing House of Myrtle

We are House of Myrtle, and we design products to redefine the conventional aesthetics of baby changing bags and other family essentials. Combining the necessary practicality with natural materials and cool designs, our product range brings a smart and elegant feel to the family gear.

House of Myrtle became an idea 4 years ago, when our mother used boat canvas to make us beach bags so big that we could almost fit in ourselves, just like we had imagined them!  Handcrafted by her, she tagged them with the logo “mummy bag”! Having loved the looks and feel of our beach bags, we decided to create a range of products, as our mother would have crafted them for us, even when we would become mothers ourselves. Honouring our ‘founder’ (aka our mum) our first ever item was our beach bag! Made out of 100% natural cotton, with strong and durable fabric, we created a giant bag to fit every single bit you need for the endless Greek summer days.

Then we decided to take on the parent gear reality and create our own range of products, bringing a different feel to it, more elegant, more stylish.. Inspired by the sun, the sea, the green and the light of the Mediterranean, we designed the most practical, pure-feeling, natural-material and ‘clean design’ bags for mummies, and of course daddies, who do not wish to lose themselves in the parent-characteristic products usually offered in this market. Our philosophy is simple. Parenthood can be cool, stylish, practical, and organised, all at the same time. Parents should own things that are in tune both with their aesthetics as well as their practical needs, enjoying these lovely parts of their lives to the fullest. We aim to offer quality, long lasting, timeless pieces to use every day!
